Kildare Gardaí arrest driver stopped in middle of road between Naas and Newbridge

The Naas Roads Policing Unit spotted a vehicle stopped in the middle of the R445 dual carriageway between Naas and Newbridge in Co Kildare
On investigation, the vehicle had a flat tyre as a result of a collision with a kerb.
However, the driver failed a roadside breath test for alcohol and was arrested.
This motorist returned a reading of 93 micrograms of alcohol - four times over the legal limit.
The driver was charged with drunk driving and is currently before the courts.
Kildare Gardaí reminded all motorists to never drink and drive.
They added: "It's never worth the risk."
