A decision to grant planning permission was issued by Kildare County Council on January 30 2025 to Rathcoffey GAA Club, Mooretown, Donadea, Co Kildare for a single storey extension to the rear of the existing clubhouse.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS) the extension will provide for four changing rooms, a referee’s changing room, showering facilities, ladies and gents’ toilets and a 44 sq. m. covered outdoor area.

The existing two changing rooms are to be converted to store rooms.
The development also includes for provision of an additional 12 car parking spaces.
The development is expected to cost approximately €623,000.
