Kellsboro House, Kilbelin, Newbridge sold for €1.2m
The five most expensive properties sold in Kildare last year accounted for over €7m of the market.
In December, 12 homes at Mullen Park, Maynooth exchanged hands for over €2.4m according to the property price register. This was the single biggest deal in the residential market in the county in 2024.

Donaghcumper House, Dublin Road, Celbridge, which sits on 26.3 acres was bought for €1,251,750 on December 24. It's understood Kildare County Council, in partnership with the Office of Public Works (OPW) intend to establish the River Liffey Amenity Park and protect the landscape associated with the historic country estates and houses of Castletown, Donaghcumper and St. Wolstans.

The third most expensive Kildare property was Beechgrove House, Naas which was purchased for €1,250,000.
Meanwhile, Kellsboro House, Kilbelin, Newbridge, which is set on 46 acres, sold for €1.2m. This property attracted significant interest given its strategic location on the periphery of Newbridge, surrounded by residential estates. Apart from its development potential the Georgian property, although vacant for many years, still retains it's character.

The fifth most expensive home in Kildare in 2024 was No. 2 St John's Park South, St John's Grove, Johnstown which was sold for €1,040,000.
