Plan to turn former Kildare pub into takeaway
There are plans to turn a former pub in Newbridge into a takeaway restaurant.
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council for the former The Winning Post pub on Eyre Street.
Being planned is the change of use of part of the existing ground floor of the premises from a licensed premises to a premises for the sale of hot food for consumption off the premises.
Also proposed are alterations to the internal layout on the ground floor.
The designs also include new toilet facilities.

The total floor are of the proposed development is 84 square metres.
The construction value of the project is over €100,000.
