'A job worth doing' - Kildare gardaí hold recruitment event in Naas

Presentations made to audience in Naas Library

An Garda Síochána Kildare hosted a Garda Recruitment Information Night in Naas Library in Kildare. 
A large crowd attended where Potential recruits were given a presentation.
Community Gardaí Shane Smyth and Deirdre Davoran spoke about the application process and what a job in An Garda Síochána looks like.
Trainee Garda Matthew Cusack from Newbridge Station spoke about his experiences in the Garda College and his current role.
Probationer Garda Fidelma Marrinan and Garda Aoife Credon from Naas Station spoke about their duties and how joining An Garda Siochana has changed their lives.
Sergeant Paul Maher from Armed Support spoke about his role on the front line dealing with violent criminals.
Inspector Gavin Dunphy explained the duties and responsibilities of management in An Garda Síochána.
At the end, there was a Q&A session.
