45 new homes are being planned for Castledermot, Co Kildare, according to Construction Information Services (CIS.)
A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on February 14 2025 by Masonbrook Holdings Limited for a residential development at Barrack Road on a site area of c.1.24ha, consisting of 45 homes.
The proposed development is comprised of 12 two and three-storey, three and four-bed detached, semi-detached and terraced houses; 22 two and three-bed apartments and duplex units accommodated in two three-storey buildings; and 11 one and two-bed apartments accommodated in one three-storey building.

The proposed development also provides for two vehicular access points off Barrack Road, and all associated site development works, open spaces, including hard & soft landscaping & boundary treatments, car parking, bin & bicycle storage, etc.
The architect for the proposed project is Davey & Smith Architect.
