The popular women's fashion retailer Quiz has announced it is closing five of its shops in Ireland.
The Scottish-based retailer will shut down its store in Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge as well as stores in The Square in Tallaght and Athlone Town Centre.
Quiz will continue to operate in Newry, Mullingar, Portlaoise, Carlow and Drogheda.

Quiz will close 23 of its 65 stores across the UK and Ireland, resulting in 54 job losses. Staff have been notified of the closures.
This news comes as fashion giant New Look announced their shock exit from the Irish market after more than 20 years on Thursday.
This means that Whitewater Shopping Centre will now see two major stores close.
