Kildare Gardaí seizing cars off drivers for very simple reasons
Vehicles impounded under the Road Traffic Act.
The Naas Roads Policing Unit said it performed a High Visibility Checkpoint at Kilcock, Kildare, recently.
Gardaí seized three vehicles for various offences under the Road Traffic Act.
One vehicle was seized for No Insurance.
Another two vehicles were seized from and Unaccompanied Learner Permit holders of which one had No Insurance.
Another motorist tested positive for Cannabis and was arrested for Drug Driving.
There will be a court appearance for No Insurance and Drug Driving.
Fixed Charge Notices and Penalty Points were issued for Unaccompanied Learner Driver offences.
