Kildare Gardaí call out 'crazy speed' of driver near village

The Naas Road Policing Unit carried out a speed check this week at Rathbride near Miltown village in Kildare.
One driver was detected driving at almost double the prevailing speed limit of 60 km per hour. 
Gardaí said: "A motorist was detected travelling at a crazy speed of 118kph in a 60kph zone will face a court appearance for Dangerous Driving."
A number of other motorists who were detected travelling at lesser excessive speeds.
These motorists will each receive Fixed Charge Notice Penalties of €160 and 3 Penalty Points.
Gardaí added: "Please Slow Down - Speed Kills."
