Road users have been warned that a vehicle is on fire on the M9 between Kilcullen and Athy in Co Kildare this morning.
The incident is taking place on the southbound carriageway between Junction 2 and Junction 3.
Emergency services, including Kildare Fire Service, are attending the scene.
