A man in his 30s has been arrested in Maynooth in connection with a search carried out by gardai under Operation Thor.
Gardai from all units of the Clare/Tipperary Crime Functional Area, supported by members from Leixlip Garda Station, the Armed Support Unit and other National Units conducted the search under warrant in Maynooth, Co Kildare on Tuesday February 25 2025.
A number of items were seized during the searches, including a high end value vehicle.
A man in his 30s was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in Co. Tipperary.
He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
The investigation is ongoing.
