'Outrageous' - Kildare Gardaí seize 39 vehicles in past week

Over the past week, Gardai in Kildare seized an increduble 39 vehicles across the county for various road traffic offences.
The vehicles were impounded for No Insurance, No Tax, No NCT, Dangerous Defective and Unaccompanied Learners.
Gardaí added that one unaccompanied Learner aged 18 years old was detected by the Naas Roads Policing Unit at an 'outrageous speed' of 206 KM/H on the M9 a 120 KM/H zone.
A statement said: "This driver was arrested and charged with Dangerous Driving.
"This driver will appear in court shortly.
"The penalty for Dangerous Driving is a Fine of up to €5,000, a two year disqualification and up to six months in prison."
