Kildare singer adds two more dates to Irish tour

Naas musician Dan McCabe has added two more dates to his Irish tour.

An extra Vicar Street date has already been added (for March 9) and another date has been added at the Millennium Forum Theatre in Derry (April 26) to his present tour. Last year Dan had sellout shows in Australia and he returns there for a series of concerts on dates in May.

The highlight of his career to date came on New Year's Eve when he was invited to Áras an Uachtaráin at  request of President Michael D Higgins, who is big fan, to perform The Parting Glass after Mr Higgins' new year speech. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOcNmU39YSk

In 2023, he signed a worldwide publishing deal, releasing his first self-penned track, Heaven's only a Touch Away (a song he wrote for his little girl) which went in at number one on ITunes.  Last October he released his first fully produced studio album Back To Life, which also went in at number one on ITunes. 

More recently he was invited by comedians The 2 Johnnies to participate in a podcast.
