“I am delighted to confirm that the Sallins Sunshine Club located at Sallins Community Centre will receive €97,000, Caragh GFC located at Caragh GFC Community Hall will receive €100,000 and the Clane Project Centre located at Clane Project Community Centre will receive €77,220 in funding.”

“I would also like to commend the volunteers in each of these centres. This is very positive news and I want to congratulate each of the successful committees receiving funding today and wish them well with their various projects going forward.”

Minister Lawless concluded: “The Programme for Government has included a commitment ensuring that the Community Centre Investment Fund will be a permanent rolling fund to upgrade, refurbish and build local community centres.”
