Kildare County Council wishes to advise all farmers in County Kildare that farmyard and farmland inspections will be carried out throughout 2025, in accordance with the EPA National Agricultural Inspection Programme.
The National Agricultural Inspection Programme is a risk-based approach intended to reduce agricultural pressures on water quality, particularly in areas where waterbodies are significantly impacted by agricultural activities.
Kildare County Council will contact farmers in advance of an inspection and appreciates their co-operation.
