Two bicycles were stolen from a premises located in Sallins.

Community Garda Aidan McGuane (Maynooth) discussed the thefts when he appeared on a KFM radio programme on March 19 last.

He explained that the incident took place at Sallins Bicycle Shop sometime between 3pm and 4pm on March 12 last.

Gda McGuane further said that gardaí are looking for CCTV in relation to the incident.

He concluded by urging anyone with information about the two thefts to contact gardaí.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí received report of the theft of two bicycles from a premises in Sallins, County Kildare that occurred at approximately 3.30pm on March 12, 2025."

"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson added.
