The Minister for Social Protection, Dara Calleary TD, has today announced details of the Intreo Work and Skills events which are taking place across the country from the March 26 to April 11.
Over 50 events are taking place nationwide with a huge range of opportunities in a range of sectors including financial services, transport and logistics, hospitality, healthcare, retail and many more.
In Kildare, a Newbridge Work and Skills recruitment event will take place in Newbridge Town Hall from 10am to 1pm on Wednesday April 2.
The work and skills events provide jobseekers with an opportunity to connect with employers who are actively recruiting.
Jobseekers also have the opportunity to learn about the training options available, and avail of job seeking advice to help them take the next step in their career.
Speaking of the events, Minister Calleary said: “The Work and Skills events provide an important platform to bring employers together with people who are actively seeking job opportunities across the country, as well as highlighting the range of training options currently available.
“These events also offer an opportunity for people to find out more about the extensive supports and services that are available from my Department to both employers and jobseekers.
“Employers from a wide variety of industry sectors are recruiting at our Work and Skills events and those attending an event will have an ideal opportunity to meet directly with employers and learn more about the roles on offer.”
Liam Deeney, Head of Recruitment at EMEIS Ireland said: “Our partnership with Intreo ensures that we can identify and recruit candidates who are not only passionate but also equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the healthcare sector.
“We are excited to meet motivated individuals who are eager to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents. Our nursing homes in Finglas offer a supportive and rewarding work environment, and we are confident that the right candidates will thrive as part of our team.”
