Kildare animal foundation calls out for adoption of blind dog

"

Kildare Animal Foundation took to social media to share a photograph of Karole, a totally blind dog in need of her forever home.

Countless messages have come in from Kildare locals expressing concern and sympathy towards the dog, with one person writing, "I wish I could help out. Very very much hope someone else can step forward."

Another person said, "Shared. This lady needs a really loving home. I wish that I could take her, unfortunately right now I can't."

Kildare animal foundation said, "Our beautiful Karole needs a home of her own. She is blind but still plays ball. She is so loving ... she loves nothing better than to have someone to cuddle with."

"She is a bit of a rascal with cats. Her blindness is due to untreated diabetes. She has experienced extreme hunger so she loves her food. Her care involves meals exactly 12 hours apart with measured amounts of specialised diabetic food. She needs an insulin injection again 12 hours apart and regular glucose checks with a Vet. We know it is a tall order to ask someone to take this on but we have to ask. She is such a lovely dog who is in this fix through no fault of her own," the foundation added.
