New apartments proposed for building on South Main Street in Naas, Kildare

A number of new apartments have been proposed for South Main Street in Naas.

A planning permission application currently with Kildare County Council (KCC) shows that Tricondale Limited intends to construct the apartments at 6 / 7 South Main Street.

Specifically, the company is seeking permission from KCC for the change of use of the existing vacant commercial space on the first and second floors above the vacant retail unit on South Main Street, and also in the existing vacant commercial space in the adjoining rear building on Abbey Street at ground, first and second floor levels.

The applicant intends to construct three new apartments in total.

In addition, Tricondale Ltd is seeking permission for "all associated site works and connection into existing services at the above address".

"The building along South Main Street is a protected structure (Ref. NS19-052)," the application also notes.

The date received on the application is listed as March 27 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as April 30 and May 21 respectively.

According to the business information website vision-net.ie, Tricondale Ltd was established in 2015.

It has a registered address listed as C/O Staunton Sports, Moneen Bradagh Industrial Estate, Castlebar, County Mayo.
