Speaking at Kildare GAA's Cedral St Conleth's Park, Leinster GAA President Derek Kent confirmed the Leinster Championship semi-finals will not be in Croke Park for the first time in over 30 years.
Speaking about the decision, Kildare captain Kevin Feely said, "It suits pretty much all the stakeholders in that situation to have a game in a smaller venue where the atmosphere is better and where the energy around the place is a little bit better. Leinster semi-finals can look a little bit stale, a little bit dead, and potentially that is to do with the lack of atmosphere in such a big stadium. I see nothing but positives with that decision."
Players and media were gathered for the Leinster Championship 2025 launch with each county, except Dublin, sending a representative player.
