The omission of pedestrian / cycle links for a Large-Scale Residential Development (LSRD) in Kildare has been proposed.

A planning permission application currently with Kildare County Council (KCC) shows that Cairn Homes Properties Limited that is seeking to make the changes to the LSRD in Blackparks, Athy.

The business intends to make minor amendments to this LSRD (KCC Reg. Ref. 23/656 and ABP-318365-23), which is currently under construction, for [the] "reconstruction of the northern boundary wall between the subject site and Tonlegee Lawns".

This would result in the omission of the pedestrian / cycle links, "as required by condition 3 of the ABP-318365-23 grant of permission", according to the application.

"The remainder of the development will remain as permitted under KCC Reg. Reg. 23/656 and ABP-318365-23," the application also noted.

In addition, Cairn Homes Properties Ltd is seeking permission for all associated works and landscaping treatments.

The date received is listed as April 2 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as May 6 and May 27 respectively.

The business information website vision-net.ie shows that Cairn Homes Properties Ltd was established back in November of 2014.

It has an address listed as 45 Mespil Road, Dublin 4, County Dublin.
