The court was told that she was gone when the gardaí arrived and she was arrested later.
She was further prosecuted for failing to give a sample after being stopped while driving on October 6 last.
Judge Desmond Zaidan said the defendant is a “living example of the evil of illicit drugs” and he commented that he has known her since she was 13.
“When she is not in custody she is before the court,” the judge added.
The judge also pointed out that the defendant's mother is frail and nearly blind and he told the defendant to stay away from her mother.
“It is not a lot to ask her to stay away from her mother,” he said.
Addressing the defendant, he said: “Your mum is frail, leave her alone. If your mum is no longer with us you will regret it.”
He also said it is “only a matter of time before I put you in prison for a long time.”
He disqualified her from driving for four years and imposed a fine of €200.
