A rock was thrown through the window of a home located in North Kildare.
That's according to Garda Shane Smyth of Naas Garda Station, who discussed the incident when he appeared on a KFM radio programme on Wednesday, April 9 last.
Gda Smyth explained that the crime took place at a home located within the Oakwood Park estate in the early hours of Wednesday, April 2 last.
He added that gardaí based in Carbury are investigating the matter.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received report of an incident of criminal damage that occurred at approximately 12:30am on the 2nd of April 2025 at Oakwood Park in Derrinturn, County Kildare."
"Investigations are ongoing," they added.
