A total of 14 brand-new apartments have been proposed near Sallins and Naas Train Station.

According to a planning permission application currently with Kildare County Council (KCC), one David O'Rourke is seeking to construct the apartments at Old Bridge Station and Station Way, Osberstown in Naas.

The description of the application shows that the proposed development would comprise of one three-storey block accommodating seven two-bed ground floor apartments.

The block would also comprise of seven three-bed duplex units at first and second floors.

In addition, Mr O'Rourke is seeking permission for the following features: "Access off Oldbridge Station, car parking, connection to mains sewers, landscaping, boundary treatments, bin storage, bike storage and all associated site development works."

The date received is listed as April 7 last.

The submission-by and due dates are listed as May 11 and June 1 respectively.
