New AIB branch managers in Kildare
AIB has made four new branch manager appointments to its retail banking team in Kildare.
This follows the bank's recent announcement of a €40m investment programme in its nationwide network of branches.
Jeanette Minnock is the new branch manager in Maynooth, having just moved from managing the Edenderry branch. She is looking forward to meeting new and existing customers and welcoming them into the branch.

“Having studied in Maynooth in the hopes of some day working in a bank, I am delighted to have come full circle”, Jeanette said. “My team and I can support the customers in Maynooth with all their financial needs, while promoting a customer and community focused culture and help customers to build a sustainable future”.
Sinéad Sweeney has been appointed branch manager of the Naas branch. In this role she also has responsibility for Clane and Blessington.
“After graduating with a degree in Economics and Maths from NUI Maynooth, I joined AIB in 2002”, Sinéad said.
“At AIB we understand the importance of a strong branch network in our local communities. I am really proud to take on this role and look forward to working closely with the communities in Naas, Clane and Blessington in the years ahead."
Vanessa Brennan is the new branch manager in Athy. She said: “I am delighted to be based in Athy where we, as with all at AIB, want our customers to have a superior experience in each and every interaction with us.
“Whether that’s opening your first account, buying your dream home or planning for your financial future, the team in AIB Athy, and I, pride ourselves in supporting our customers at every stage of their journey”.
In Newbridge, Freda Hearns has been appointed branch manager. She said: “I have worked here previously so I really looked forward to returning to this branch. From my local experience, I understand the importance of our branch to the local community and in supporting our customers at different stages of their financial journey”.
Commenting on the appointments, AIB’s Head of Consumer Banking, Adrian Moynihan said: “I am delighted to appoint these new Branch Managers around Co Kildare.
“With their wealth of banking experience and their deeply rooted knowledge of our customers in the county, they will be exceptional advocates for our customers in the county. AIB is deeply committed to making a positive contribution to our local communities across Ireland.”
AIB’s retail banking unit supports over three million personal, mortgage and SME customers. The bank also has the largest branch network in Ireland, with 170 branches, and has 2.19 million active digital users.
