In the past week An Garda Síochána Kildare have seized a total of 50 vehicles across Co Kildare for No Insurance No Tax, No NCT, Unaccompanied Learner Permit Holders and Disqualified Drivers.
A Garda statement added: "An Garda Síochána Kildare are committed to delivering high visibility roads policing - backed up by our Garda Mobility App.
"We have been ramping up efforts to seize uninsured vehicles as part of our road safety initiatives."
Meanwhile, Community Policing Naas Sergeant Muldowney and Garda O' Sullivan were with Irish Rail staff recently.
Gardaí have been actively patrolling Irish Rail trains as part of efforts to tackle crime and anti-social behavior.
Initiatives like Operation Twin Tracks involve Kildare Gardaí working alongside Irish Rail on all train stations from Portlaoise to Hueston Station in Dublin.
Elsewhere, the Naas Roads Policing Unit operated a recent mandatory intoxicant checkpoint in Naas.
Gardaí added that they arrested a motorist for intoxicated driving after testing positive for cannabis and cocaine.
This driver's car was also impounded and he had no Insurance.
A second car was seized from an unaccompanied Learner Driver who had No L-Plates displayed.
A fine was issued and there will be a court appearance for the uninsured drug driver.
