A crèche located in North Kildare has proposed to increase its spaces capacity by over 50 per cent.
Applicants James Hargrave and Regina McGovern are intending to make the changes to Little Harvard Crèche and Montessori, which is located at The Avenue, Westfield in Leixlip.
The duo are seeking planning permission from Kildare County Council for "an increase in the previously permitted occupancy from 81 childcare places to 144 places, at any one time, at the existing purpose built crèche / preschool facility".
The date received is listed as April 22 last.
The submission-by and due dates are listed as May 26 and June 16 respectively.
Little Harvard Crèche and Montessori has multiple crèches across Ireland.
In the context of Kildare, it has five branches in Leixlip, and also has branches in Kilcock, Maynooth and Newbridge.
