A vehicle, in addition to keys and property, was stolen from a North Kildare home.

Details of the crime were relayed to KFM yesterday morning (May 21 last) by Garda Seán O'Mahony of Athy Garda Station.

He explained that the incident occurred in the early hours of yesterday at a residence located in the Glendale Estate in Leixlip.

Regarding the vehicle that was stolen by the perpetrator(s), Gda O'Mahony said that the vehicle was a Blue Volkswagen Golf with the following registration number: 151-D-34236.

He concluded by urging anyone with information to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about the crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí are investigating a reported burglary and unauthorised taking of a vehicle that occurred at a residence in the Glendale Estate, Leixlip, County Kildare shortly before 3am on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson added.
