A number of goods have been stolen following a burglary incident which took place at a retail premises located in County Kildare.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about the crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí attended the scene following a report of an incident of burglary at a retail premises on the Monread Road, Naas, County Kildare, that occurred at approximately 2am on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

"A number of goods were taken from the premises.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Naas Garda Station on (045) 884300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."

The spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing at present.
