Permission sought for change of use to five apartments in Kildare

Planning permission has been submitted for a change of use of a premises to apartments at a location in Kilcock.

The development, overseen by Whyte Planning Consultants Limited, is proposed for a location at the Square, Main Street, Commons East, Kilcock, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), the planning application was submitted to the Local Planning Authority on May 28 2025.

The proposed development involves the extension of an existing building by removing the existing roof and constructing an additional first floor and mono-pitch roof.

The development also includes the change of use of existing and proposed building for five apartments (four one-bed and one duplex studio apartment).

Included in the plans are: internal site car parking, connection to public foul sewer, detached bin and bike store, reconstruction of front boundary gate and wall on a like for like basis (due to vehicle collision damage) and all associated site works.
