Only one patient on a trolley at Kildare's main hospital today

None on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital

Naas hospital urges patients to get medical care elsewhere due to overcrowding

There was just a single patient on a trolley at Naas Hospital today, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

This means it was the least overcrowded public hospital in the eastern region, which includes the major Dublin Hospitals.

There were nine patients on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital and none on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital.
