No patients on trolleys today at Kildare hospital

Hospital overcrowding eases generally

Kildare's Naas General Hospital advises patients with non-emergency conditions to seek assistance from other parts of the health service

There were no patients on trolleys at Naas Hospital today.

Two other hospitals in the eastern region - Connolly in Blanchardstown and Beaumont - also had no patients on trolleys.

The most overcrowded facility in the region today was the Mater Hospital which had 215 people on trolleys.

There were 11 patients on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital and none in Tullamore Hospital.
