Car seized from driver texting on M7 motorway
Gardaí said a driver was too busy texting behind the wheel to notice their garda car on the M7 Motorway.
Things didn’t improve when the driver realised gardaí had been alerted to their behaviour.
“This driver failed to notice our patrol of the M7 yesterday as they were busy texting on their phone," Gardaí said.
"When the vehicle was stopped it had no insurance, tax or NCT and was seized."
The Laois Roads Policing Unit said the motorist was issued with a fine and court proceedings will follow.
The car which was taken away on the back of a two truck.
