Kildare funeral home plans to build Tea Station and Wake Room

Glennon Funeral Directors have applied for planning permission to extend their funeral home premises in Allenwood, Naas, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services, an application was submitted to Kildare County Council. 

The proposed plans for Glennon Funeral Directors include an extension to the existing funeral home; storage space at first floor level; office space; a tea station and a wake room at ground floor level.

The application is for one single commercial unit, 48m2 with external shop front signage, with a costing of €345,000.

Included in the plans are foul and surface water connections to existing public mains and designated parking within an existing car park at rear accessed by an existing entrance.
