A man and woman who were arrested yesterday (June 24 last) over the alleged false imprisonment of a woman in North Kildare are due to appear in court this morning (June 25).
Announcing the update, a garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí investigating the alleged incident of false imprisonment of a woman which occurred in Castletown, Celbridge, County Kildare on Monday, June 23, 2025 have charged the man and woman who were arrested in connection with this investigation.
"Both the man and woman, aged in their 30s, are due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court No. 1 this morning Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 10.30am."
The spokesperson added that investigations are currently ongoing in relation to this case.
