A total of 24 new homes are being planned in Monasterevin in Co Kildare. 

The proposed dwellings, earmarked for the Ferns Bridge area, are comprised of 14  2 and 3 bed terraced houses.

There will also be 10 1 bed apartments and 3 bed duplex units in 1 three storey block. 

The developer is Masonbrook Holdings Ltd which is based in Johnstown near Naas. 

The estimated construction value of the project is €3.7m.

Vehicle access to the development will be from Ferns Avenue to the north, which is located off the R414 Oldgrange Road to the east.

The proposed development also includes public open spaces and landscaping as well as car and bicycle parking.

The overall site area spans 0.71 hectares in total.
