A vehicle was reported stolen from a Kildare town home during the course of a burglary which occurred earlier this week.

Details of the incident were relayed to KFM by Garda Ann-Marie Reilly of Naas Garda Station, who appeared as a guest on the radio station on the morning of Wednesday, July 2 last.

She told host Eoin Beatty that the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, July 1 last, at a home located in The Drive, Walker's Gate region of Kildare town.

According to Gda Reilly, two sets of keys were stolen from the home, in addition to one vehicle, a Peugeot Rifter with the following registration plate: '192-MH-1149'.

She concluded by urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Kildare town Garda Station on 045 527 730.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this particular crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received a report of a burglary and theft of a car that occurred in Kildare town on July 1, 2025."

The spokesperson added: "Investigations are ongoing."
