According to the description of the application: "The works would be carried out in the curtilage of protected structure 'Maudlins Farmhouse' (RPS Ref. NS 19-096) at this site known as Maudlins House Hotel".

The development would consist of the construction of an extension to Maudlins House Hotel over an existing basement carpark, "with said extension to be linked to the existing hotel building at basement level only".

The proposed extension would comprise of: 70 aparthotel rooms over six floors, with office and linen room at ground floor, linen room on all upper floors; two passenger lifts; and a roof level plant room.

Permission is also being sought for all associated ancillary works.
