A €246k planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council for a 'change of use' to a gym of an existing premises at Unit E, Naas Retail Park, Newbridge Road, Naas, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), application number 2560776 was submitted to the local authority on July 9 2025.
The promoter/client for the proposed development is RI Ireland 3 BV, with the architect being Downey Architecture and Planning.

The scheme comprises of the proposed change of use of the existing unit at Naas Retail Park from retail warehouse to use as a gym.
There is also to be provision of a mezzanine floor, associated stair cores, gym user facilities and ancillary staff areas to facilitate this change of use.
Included in the project is new elevational signage and all associated works necessary to facilitate the development.
The floor area of the project is 182.22 m2, with the total site area being 0.069 ha.
A decision due date has been set at September 2 2025.
