A substantial plot of prime agricultural land in Laois is set to go under the hammer at an auction at the end of the month. 

The 25 acres at Ballyshanduff, Ballybrittas will be sold by public auction at the Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge. Co. Kildare on Tuesday, July 29 at 3pm. CONTINUE READING BELOW PHOTO


The selling agents are CME and Solicitors: Andrew Coonan, Coonan Cawley Solicitors, Naas Town Centre, Wolfe Tone Street, Naas, Co. Kildare.

The land is described as being in an 'excellent location' and 'suitable to all agricultural enterprises'.


The selling agents said the land is "ideally suited to erection of a residence thereon (subject to the necessary planning being obtained)."

The site is 1 km from Ballybrittas, 7 km from Monasterevin and 10 minutes drive to the M7 Motorway.

The Advised Market Value (AMV) is €300,000.
