Ramps needed to tackle speeding in south Kildare village

Kildare County Council 'will investigate'

There is a need for speed ramps in Narraghmore.

Cllr Mark Leigh asked for them to be provided at Hillview Drive in the village and also asked the council to resurfaces the inner drive "in the interest of public safety."

Kildare County Council responded that it will will investigate the matter regarding the ramps. It also pointed out that speeding is an issue for An Garda Síochána. Resurfacing within the speed limits in Narraghmore is part of KCC's three year programme or works.
