Plans have been applied for 13 homes beside the River Liffey in Ballymore Eustace.
Kildare County Council is studying the proposals.
A new road entrance to public road R411 will serve the proposed development.
Other elements being sought approval for include internal road works, parking, footpaths, drainage and hard and soft landscaping.
The estimated construction value of the project is €2m.
The developer of the proposed dwellings on a 0.6 hectare site is the Ballymore Group.
