A Playstation 5 games console and a lady's purse were stolen from a house in Ferns Wood estate, Monasterevin, Kildare recently.
According to Gda Brian Carroll, who appeared on a KFM radio show on Wednesday, July 23 last, the burglary occurred on July 20 2025 between 2am and 5am.

Gda Carroll explained that the homeowner awoke to go to work on July 20, and on going downstairs, found the window was open.
The homeowner discovered that not only was her purse gone, but also a Playstation 5 games console.
Gardai are currently viewing CCTV footage from the area, and are appealing to members of the public who may have information on the burglary.
Gda Carroll said Gardai would also ask if anyone has been offered a Playstation 5 console “in unusual circumstances” to get in touch at Monasterevin Garda Station at 045-525322.
