The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) has said that a power fault has been detected in one North Kildare town today (July 28).

The outage has occurred in Kilcock was initially reported at around 8.33am and is currently affecting around 15 customers.

According to the ESB, the estimated restore time is 11.45am.

The ESB also said: "We apologise for the loss of supply.

"We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
