Wheelchair accessible signs to be improved in two Kildare towns

Kildare County Council will carry out a survey

Council blocks €11m plan for 44 new homes near Naas town centre

Work will be done to improve the wheelchair accessible parking space road markings in Naas and Sallins.

Cllr Bill Clear asked for this to be done and told a Naas Municipal District committee meeting that the council “as many have become worn and some are missing appropriate signage.”

According to Kildare County Council a comprehensive survey of all wheelchair-accessible parking spaces will be undertaken and following this assessment, line marking and appropriate signage will be installed where required.
