Two power outages have been reported near one County Kildare town.

According to the ESB, the two outages have been reported in Sallins and Johnstown, both of which are beside Naas.

It is estimated that 42 customers are currently affected by these outages.

The outage in Sallins was initially reported at 2.27pm, while the one in Johnstown was reported at 3.06pm.

Power is expected to be restored in Sallins by 5.15pm, while power is expected to be restored in Johnstown by 5.30pm.

The ESB further said about both outages: "We apologise for the loss of supply.

"We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
