ALERT: Extensive road closure announced for this Kildare village. File photograph
An extensive road closure has been announced for one village located in County Kildare.
Kildare County Council (KCC) said in a statement issued today (August 11) that the closure will take place from tomorrow, August 12, 2025 until September 1, 2025.
The closure will affect a section of the L2032 road from Two Mile House to Mylerstown Cross.
According to KCC, diversions will be via Stephenstown South (L6073) and the Kilcullen Road (R448).
KCC concluded: "The works are being carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann for upgrade works to the water infrastructure."
