A clothes collection fundraiser has been launched by one football club based in County Kildare.
Clongorey Football Club (FC) will be collecting a variety of clothing items as part of the collection, which will be held over the course of two separate days.
According to the club's official Facebook page, all proceeds raised during these two days will go towards its U16s trip to Cambrills Sports Resort in Spain on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
Clongorey FC also said that the fundraiser is a "great excuse to empty the wardrobes while supporting our club".
Items of clothing that the club is accepting as part of this fundraiser include: men's clothing, women's clothing, children's clothing, paired shoes, handbags, towels, hats, bags, scarves, ties, curtains, belts, soft toys and bedsheets.
The collections will take place on the grounds of Clongorey FC (W12 TN25).
The two collection dates are Sunday, August 24, 2025 and Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Donated items will be accepted between 11am and 4pm on both days.
