RIP to the late Phil Bannon (née Walsh), Lily Deegan (née Farrell) and Seamus Fisher

The death has occurred of Phil Bannon (née Walsh)

Gurteenoona, Monasterevin, Kildare / Cappakeel, Laois.

August 26, 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by the Walsh and Bannon family.

Loving wife of Jimbob.

Sadly missed by her children Nicola, Trevor, Tracey, Garreth, Seamus, Ruairi, Kenneth, Sarah, Gemma, and their partners, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, grandchildren Chloe, Keelin, Robbie, Faolan, Rhiain, Aaron, little Sarah, Joseph, Stephanie, Gemma, Scott, T.J., Daire, Robert, John, Conor, Luke, Willow, Dylan and Finn, Oisin, Freya, Síofra, Daniel, Lee and Saul, great-grandchildren Bonnie, Breagh and Aidan, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, her adopted daughters Caroline, Alison and Jackie, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Phil (The Duffer) Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her daughter Tracey’s home in Ballyfarsoon, Monasterevin, Eircode W34 RK58 on Thursday from 3pm with prayers at 7.30pm.

Removal on Friday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Monasterevin for 11am Mass.

 Funeral afterwards to St Evin’s Cemetery, Monasterevin.

The death has occurred of Lily Deegan (née Farrell)

Mile Mill, Kilcullen, Kildare / Clough, Baltinglass, Wicklow.

August 24, 2025, suddenly at home, in her 90th year.

Predeceased by her loving husband John and brother Jim.

Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Maisie, brother-in-law Michael and his wife Dinah, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends. 

May Lily’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at St Paul’s Oratory, Baltinglass (Eircode W91 Y796) on Wednesday evening from 5pm concluding at 8pm.

Funeral arriving to The Church of The Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, on Thursday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest with John in St Brigid’s cemetery.

The death has occurred of Seamus Fisher

Bishophill, Ballymore Eustace, Kildare.

Passed away peacefully in Larchfield Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family.

August 26, 2025. Loving husband of Chris.

Devoted father of Seamie, Michael, Susan, and Raymond.

He will be dearly missed by his family, son in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Peter and Michael, sisters Kathleen and Maggie, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. 

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace. 

Reposing in Clarkes Funeral Home, Burgage More, Blessington, County Wicklow W91 YN79 on Wednesday, August 27, from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymore Eustate on August 28 arriving for 11am Funeral Mass followed burial in St Mary’s Cemetery.

The death has occurred of David (Gander) Gannon

Castlevillage, Court, Celbridge, Kildare / St Patrick's Park, Celbridge

August 25, 2025.

Peacefully in Tallaght University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, predeceased by his parents Mary and Barney Snr, brother Barney Jnr, and grandson Ryan.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Adelle, children Dan, Lindsey, Angie and Christopher, sons-in-law David and Stephen, daughters-in-law Cara and Shauna, his much adored and loved grandchildren Cody, Chloe, Leah Rose and Meena, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May David Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster Street, Maynooth, (W23 V99E) on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm with evening prayers at 7pm.

Removal from the Funeral Home by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors on Friday at approx 9am to arrive at Newlands Cross Crematorium for a Celebration of Life Service at 10am, followed by cremation.

House Strictly Private.

The Close, Tiermohan, Naas / Tiermohan, Donadea, Kildare / Ballydowd Grove, Lucan, Dublin.

August 25, 2025, suddenly at his residence.

Predeceased by his Father Bill and brother Padraig.

Loving husband of Sinead and adored father of Saidbh, Daire and Daniel.

Deeply regretted by his Mother Ina, sisters Anne and Bríd, brothers in law Terry and Malcolm, nephews, nieces, relatives and his many friends.

Dónal will be reposing at his family home on Friday, August 29, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday in the Church of the Nativity, Newtown, Enfield (A83 YY49) at 11.30 am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

"Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam Dílis."
