Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR) yesterday (August 31 last) announced the opening of its Autumn and Spring placements.
According to KWR, these placements are suitable for third level students looking for work placements as part of their ongoing studies.
KWR explained: "Placements run on a weekly basis over eight to ten weeks and will offer students hands-on experience with all aspects of working in a busy rehabilitation centre.
"While on placement, you will be part of our friendly, hard working team and can avail of our monthly workshops and 'Lunch and Learns'.
"Training will be provided before coming on-site."
KWR added: "Please note that this is not a clinical placement."
The last days for applications for Autumn placements is September 24, 2025, while the last day for Spring placements is December 1, 2025.
To apply or enquire further, those interested can email the organisation on training@kwr.ie
